Before I decided to get healthy, I wasn’t a tea drinker. Whenever I was forced to drink tea, I felt like I might as well have been eating grass or sipping on a hot tree branch. However, this stuff changed the game. Bottled and sold locally in Houston, Kickin’ Kombucha is a fizzy and flavor-filled probiotic beverage packed with cultures that are naturally energizing. Because I’m the furthest thing from cultured and/or Gwyneth Paltrow, fermented tea was a new concept for me.
Kicking Kombucha began with a group of friends who started experimenting and brewing in 2010. Since then, the company has taken off and can be found at many different retailers around the Houston area, most notably Whole Foods. Each bottle of kombucha is designed to give its consumer a boost of energy in the form of different flavors. From Ruby Rad to Vanilla Lemongrass, there is a flavor profile to suit everyone.
